Hi, I am Richard Snyder, the author of Tomorrow It Rains, a sci-fi web novel. I publish a new chapter every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Each chapter is about 8-10 normal book pages long.
The book centers on the megacity Atlas. It is the last city on Earth. 50 million people live piled on top of each other in massive buildings. They are ruled over by the benevolent Elders, a group of people thousands of years old, blessed with a telepathic link between them. They have instituted a caste system, food rationing, job and living assignments, all in an effort to promote the most good for the most people. Whether they are succeeding or not is another question.
The book can be read for free online as it is published at TomorrowItRains.com
Or you can download chapters to read offline here. The chapters are pay-what-you-want, so that you can download them for free if you choose.
I have worked for the last three months plotting this enormous story. Everything is leading somewhere, and I am not about to stall out wondering what to write next. On the flip-side, this is a light-novel. It is a first draft. Things will move quickly, and there will be mistakes.
Having said that, I hope you will join me on this adventure. I look forward to talking about the story with you on reddit or facebook, and seeing how you feel about the events, characters, and world.
Thanks!
-Richard
